Tiny Person E 2019

Tiny person is vigilant and wearing his mask because of the virus. He even where is it after he gets off the bus and we are driving home. He's had a lot of sinus issues lately because of all of the blooming trees and plants around here. And, as aunt continues to plant more stuff around the yard. Still, he did not want to miss any days this week because he had some kind of reading test that he needed to complete. He continues to see cousins frequently, and really loves it even though it presents challenges with sharing toys and bossy Ness from others and doing the trade-offs of game rules and the like. But, he still likes being around them and I am grateful that he gets to have this experience during a time when the world is clamped down in so many ways in different places. He is actually reading now. I'm not sure how it happened. I know that we did do workbooks every day this winter and yet I didn't push him to read and we probably still don't read enough. Ho

Kept in my notebook to document 3/24/21 - Tiny Person said to the bus driver after school - "My Mommy might be late because she has to go check her blood pressure." 3/24/21 - Did my great-grandpa fight in the "silver war?" 4/6/21 - Trouble sleeping 4/6/21 - "Remember this Mommy, Wherever you are, make it your kingdom. " 4/19/21 - Worried about his bad dream about grizzly bears. He heard about a death from a grizzly bear in West Yellowstone, MT. 4/20/21 - Worried about living forever because he didn't want to live forever if he couldn't have his Mickey Mouse stuff animal. This after watching some Mickey Mouse videos.

Dear Tiny Person, You are sleeping right next to me tonight as I finish up a slew of tasks here at 1:11 a.m. in the morning. I'm tired, but have things to do. I have things to do because I worked all day and then went to pick you up at the bus stop. As I waited for 20 minutes, I recorded a podcast. A podcast that I made up in those 20 minutes, including figuring out a topic. As we drove home from school, you said that you wanted to go out and get our weekly treat and that this time you wanted your 12 year old cousin to come with us. So, we drove home and waited as you worked on the chores with her (including folding and putting away socks). I brought the school stuff in, checked some emails, and went back out to the car to take a look at some of my notes. We drove to Wendys where she ordered the biggest most expensive meal and you and I both shared fries and a frosty. We also bought water for your aunt because she presented her business ideas to a group this evening at the church.

Tiny Person had emotions tonight as I read conference talks. He said he loves this place, but he a dream of music in his crib, then of Daddy, and of Winwood school, and of the Pizza Hut at Target in Virginia. He's prayed the last few days that we will be together again. He's prayed for our job and a house. He's prayed that we will go to the good kingdom of God. He's an interesting, smart, and caring little fellow. I love him and pray for his safety, his growth, his commitment, and success. He definitely experiences the opposition. Sent from my iPhone
